Dreaming of dramatically increasing your performance?

“I was a mid-packer at best when I was lucky enough to be assigned to Matt... The fact that I have since qualified for the 70.3 World Championships, WON a triathlon and podiumed at almost all my other races is pretty darn cool but I think what I am most impressed with, is how Matt is able to individualize his training programs and make them work for people that have a life.”

“I’ve played many sports in my life with many different coaches and I can honestly say that Coach Matt is the best coach I've had! He is willing to give you personalized training that caters to your lifestyle and to your personal strengths/weaknesses in the sport. In addition, he is very approachable if you have any questions about anything regarding triathlon or just life in general! No matter how fast or slow, young or old, or athletic background, Coach Matt can help you achieve your personal athletic goals!”

-Sarah Foster, All Distance Triathlete, Bend, Oregon

“Matt brings an incredible breadth of knowledge to the table, which he uses to train all manner of athletic abilities, from first-timers to professional triathletes. Despite the success of his athletes, Matt remains humble knowing how to put his ego aside while working with his athletes.  He has an incredible tact for guiding athletes rather than trying to force his ideas and principles upon them, letting each athlete discover the training that works best for them.  I would strongly recommend Coach Matt to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and down-to-earth coach to help them on their athletic journey.”

-Sean Harrington, Current Professional Triathlete & 2018 USAT Collegiate Triathlon National Champion, Santa Barbara, CA

“I have never had a coach that knew me as well as Matt does. He knows how to motivate me, how to piss me off, my strengths as an athlete, my weaknesses as a person, and uses all of this to brew up a methodical training program designed for me and only me to succeed. The training is unique and individualized, and never have I experienced burnout because the guy really took the time to get to know me, as he does with each of his athletes.”

-Rod Farvard Professional Ultra Runner, former Triathlete, Mammoth Lakes, CA

As a full time working mother of 4, back and knee surgery left me wondering if I'd ever race again, but finding Matt made all the difference. He took me from not knowing anything to being top 3 in two years. I never could have done it without him. He listens to me and works with the limitations in my life. And best of all, he's rational about the work load! I can't recommend him highly enough.

Brick wall to Podium - Before Matt I spent a lot of time training with huge weekly mountain running totals (up to 20,000 feet), long workouts, big mileage, and I was always tired, but only getting 4% improvement in race times year over year. And making , at best, 5th/AG in my races. I didn't know how to get better, and I was just wearing myself out. I was just banging my head against a brick wall. Now: Matt added science and experience to my effort. I train less, I'm less tired, I don't feel that I'm wearing my body down. In races I've started getting 1st and 2nd places in my AG. And my race times improved 10 to 12%.
